A tragic incident rooted in fear and mistaken identity has occurred in Karachi, where the owner of a tea hotel in Purana Haji Camp shot and killed a citizen, allegedly believing the man was a robber.
According to police, the fatal shooting took place near Street No. 1. The hotel owner reportedly opened fire on the individual based on suspicion. Authorities moved quickly to take the owner into custody, and an investigation into the incident is underway.
This event highlights the volatile atmosphere of rising street crime and subsequent violent reactions in the city. In a separate incident in Korangi’s Chakra Goth, citizens managed to capture two alleged robbers. One of the suspects was killed by mob violence and gunfire.
Meanwhile, law enforcement agencies reported separate encounters with criminal elements. In Gadap City and on Shaheed-e-Millat Road, two different police shootouts resulted in the arrest of a total of four suspects in an injured condition.
