Dubai Police have seized a vehicle and filed criminal charges against a motorist caught on video driving recklessly and harassing a delivery rider on a busy city road.
The viral video, shared widely on social media, shows the driver deliberately blocking and intimidating a delivery biker, swerving dangerously close and forcing him to the side of the road.
Police confirmed that the driver has been charged with reckless driving, endangering public safety, and harassment, while the car has been impounded as evidence.
In an official statement, Dubai Police condemned the act, calling it “a serious violation of road safety and human dignity.” Authorities stressed that such behavior endangers lives and will be met with strict legal action.
The police also released the official footage of the incident, showing the driver intentionally obstructing the biker’s path.
Officials urged all motorists to show respect and empathy towards delivery workers, many of whom “work tirelessly under harsh conditions to serve the community.”
