Internet personality Alix Earle had a comedic mishap during her intense rehearsal for Dancing With the Stars (DWTS), posting a clip of a spectacular fall to her TikTok account on September 27.
The 24-year-old influencer shared an update on her preparation for the third episode, showing herself and dance partner Val Chmerkovskiy attempting what looked like a complicated, two-person cartwheel. Unfortunately, the difficult stunt resulted in a slow-motion collapse, with the pair ending up on the floor.
Despite the dramatic fall, both Earle and Chmerkovskiy handled the situation well, recovering with laughter. Alix captioned the clip simply with, “HAHAHAH,” assuring fans that she was fine after the stumble.
Addressing Partnership Rumors
Alix Earle also took the opportunity to address ongoing rumors that she and Val Chmerkovskiy dislike each other due to their on-screen dynamic.
Speaking to her fans while doing her makeup, she dismissed the speculation:
“It’s so funny because I feel like we are becoming besties… I feel like we both just have sarcastic personalities and I’m like, maybe we need to chill that out because it does I guess look like we hate each other.”
Earle clearly intends to bring the same humor and authenticity to the dance floor that has made her popular online.
