The much-awaited trailer for The Mandalorian & Grogu has finally arrived, starring Pedro Pascal in the leading role, reprising his character from the Disney+ series. In the footage, Mando and Grogu are seen battling various evil robots and sci-fi creatures as they encounter the characters played by Weaver and White.
The trailer also features cameos from the wider Star Wars universe, including Babu Frik from Rise of Skywalker and Zeb Orrelios from Star Wars Rebels.
The movie was first announced in January 2024, and its official logline now reads: “The evil Empire has fallen, and Imperial warlords remain scattered throughout the galaxy.” It continues, “As the fledgling New Republic works to protect everything the Rebellion fought for, they have enlisted the help of legendary Mandalorian bounty hunter Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) and his young apprentice Grogu.” When the film was first revealed, Favreau said, “I have loved telling stories set in the rich world that George Lucas created. The prospect of bringing the Mandalorian and his apprentice Grogu to the big screen is extremely exciting.”
