ATC-I Judge Manzer Ali Gill has issued arrest warrants for eight accused in two separate cases related to the Jinnah House and Askari Tower attacks. Ms. Shah and other defendants have not been appearing in the trials of these two cases following their convictions in other matters. The judge issued arrest warrants for Imran and Faiza Azmat in the Jinnah House attack case, while warrants were issued for Usman, Ahmed Mursaleen, Hamza Sohail, and Muhammad Khalid in the Askari Tower attack case. The judge also initiated proceedings to declare two other accused, Abdul Razzaq and Safdar, as proclaimed offenders in the Jinnah House attack case.
New Title: PTI Leaders’ Interim Bail Extended in May 9 Riots Cases
Separately, another ATC extended the interim pre-arrest bail for PTI leaders Asad Umar, Azam Swati, and Imran Khan’s sisters, Aleema Khan and Uzma Khan, in various cases related to the May 9 riots. Asad Umar and Azam Swati appeared before the court, but Aleema and Uzma Khan skipped the hearing as they were in Islamabad.
