After a nearly seven-year hiatus, Cardi B has made her comeback to the music scene. The 32-year-old artist released her highly anticipated album, “Am I the Drama?”, on Friday. The album is a 23-track project that includes collaborations with several popular artists, such as Lizzo, Selena Gomez, Janet Jackson, Summer Walker, Kehlani, Tyla, and Megan Thee Stallion.
The album’s release follows her recent announcement of the “Little Miss Drama Tour,” where she will perform in over 30 cities across North America.
In a recent interview with Billboard, Cardi B spoke about her long break from music. She explained that during this time, she learned to navigate the ups and downs of fame, including “the hate, jealousy, drama, balancing my career with my personal life and growing up and maturing.” She added, “I’ve learned to control my emotions and understand how life works and how to play chess better.”
In addition to her new music, Cardi B also shared some personal news. During an interview on CBS Mornings on September 17, she confirmed that she is pregnant with her fourth child with her boyfriend, Stefon Diggs. “I’m excited. I’m happy. I feel like I’m in a good space,” she said. “I feel very strong. I feel very powerful that I’m doing all this work while I’m creating a baby.”
