Model Bella Hadid is currently in the hospital receiving treatment for an undisclosed health issue. The 28-year-old shared photos from her hospital bed on Wednesday, including a picture of herself receiving IV treatment.
“I’m sorry I always go MIA — I love you guys,” she wrote in the caption. Her mother, Yolanda Hadid, responded with a supportive message, calling her a “Lyme warrior,” while her sister, Gigi Hadid, commented, “I love you! I hope you feel as strong and good as you deserve, soon!!!!!!”
The photos showed Bella cuddling a crochet angel, eating pizza, and enjoying sunset and rainbow views. Other images featured her in an elevator with wet hair and loved ones visiting her to play cards.
Though the exact reason for her recent hospitalization wasn’t mentioned, Bella has publicly battled Lyme disease since 2012. Her mother and brother, Anwar, also live with the disease. This hospital stay follows a period of reduced public visibility for the model, who missed events like New York Fashion Week. In 2023, Bella had previously shared that she felt healthy after more than 100 days of treatment for her chronic disease and its “invisible” symptoms.
