Cillian Murphy recently praised the veteran English actor and director, Ralph Fiennes. Fiennes has a long and decorated career, having earned numerous accolades, including a BAFTA Award and a Tony Award, in addition to nominations for three Academy Awards, seven Golden Globe Awards, and a Primetime Emmy Award.
During a recent appearance on Josh Horowitz’s “Happy Sad Confused” podcast, Cillian Murphy was asked about the rumors that he would be starring in the upcoming “Harry Potter” series. While shutting down the speculation, Murphy took the opportunity to commend Ralph Fiennes and his acting skills.
He said that it is “just really hard to follow anything Ralph Fiennes does.” Murphy continued to praise him, saying, “The man is an absolute acting legend, so good luck to whoever is gonna fill those shoes.”
