Actress Meagan Good has finally revealed her reasons for standing by her husband, Jonathan Majors, during his assault trial. Majors was found guilty of assaulting his former girlfriend, Grace Jabbari, in 2023 and was sentenced to probation.
Despite the highly publicized trial, the Harlem actress never lost faith in him. During an appearance on the Tamron Hall Show, Good said she and Majors were focused on healing and communication. “We actively choose to spend this time healing, we actively choose to go to therapy, we actively choose to confide in each other and have real conversations that, regardless if we end up together or not, will be life-changing conversations,” she explained. She added that from this process, their love grew.
In a separate interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Good stated that her support for the Creed III actor came from a place of genuine care. She criticized the idea of conditional love, saying, “People tend to move out of the way out of concern for their careers or reputations.” For her, this is not true love. “If you know someone and if you believe in someone, it’s not conditional,” she said.
