In a delightful surprise for fans, renowned actress Julia Roberts recently turned heads by appearing in a coordinated look with her famous niece, Emma Roberts, at a party hosted by Simon Porte Jacquemus and Veuve Clicquot.
On Tuesday, the 57-year-old actress graced the red carpet with her fellow actress and niece, Emma, transforming the event into a glamorous family gathering. A video shared by Vogue on its Instagram account showed Julia and Emma looking nearly identical in matching black outfits and similar red hair.
“There’s no party like a Simon Porte Jacquemus and Veuve Clicquot party, just ask Julia Roberts and Emma Roberts, who turned the evening into a stylish family affair,” Vogue captioned the post. The two actresses were all smiles, posing with their arms wrapped around each other.
This event marks the first time the Roberts women have walked the red carpet together since 2012, when they were last seen at the Los Angeles premiere of the movie Jesus Henry Christ.
For those unfamiliar with their family history, Emma is the daughter of Julia’s older brother, Eric Roberts, and his ex-girlfriend, Kelly Cunningham. According to People magazine, the siblings were estranged for years due to a custody dispute over Emma that followed Eric’s separation from Kelly. However, the rift healed in 2004 with the birth of Julia’s twins, Phinnaeus and Hazel, which brought the family back together.
