The federal government has announced the revised prices of petroleum products, which are effective from September 1 for the next fortnight. According to details released early Monday morning, the price of petrol remains unchanged at Rs264.61 per litre.
The price of high-speed diesel has been reduced by Rs3 per litre, bringing the new rate to Rs269.99 per litre.
Kerosene oil has seen a decrease of Rs1.46 per litre, with its new price set at Rs176.81 per litre.
The price of light diesel oil has now dropped to Rs159.76 per litre following a reduction of Rs2.40 per litre.
The Ministry of Finance has issued an official notification, and these new prices will be in effect for the next 15 days.
