Pip Edwards has shared the emotional struggles she’s facing after her son, Justice Single, moved to the United States to pursue his basketball career. The 45-year-old founder of P.E Nation told Stellar magazine that she’s been dealing with loneliness since Justice left for college in California.
Edwards admitted, “I’ve been sleeping in his bed, just adjusting to the emptiness in the house. There’s a big energy missing.” She added that the transition has been particularly difficult for her as a single parent.
To help herself move forward, Edwards, who co-parents Justice with her ex-partner Dan Single, has decided to sell the Sydney home they once shared. She explained, “I’ve got to start a new chapter. I don’t want to be reminded of this void. He’s creating new memories; I’ve got to do the same.”
Despite the challenges, Edwards remains a strong supporter of her son’s ambitions, as he hopes to one day make it to the NBA, according to the Daily Mail. The fashion mogul often shares family moments on social media. She’s known for teasing her son about not smiling in photos but recently delighted fans by posting rare pictures of him grinning during a family outing. Before his big move, Edwards and Justice also spent time at a luxury health retreat in Thailand.
