The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced on Saturday that it has taken into consideration possible measures to uplift cricket in the country.
According to the details, PCB Chairman Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi chaired a Board of Governors (BoG) meeting. During the meeting, matters related to improving the team’s standards on the global stage were discussed.
The meeting was briefed on the steps being taken to improve women’s cricket at the grassroots level. The significance of domestic cricket was also highlighted, with an emphasis on the need to bring new and fringe players into the game.
Additionally, the meeting approved a change in the procedure for adopting the global anti-corruption code. It was also decided to change the process for the scrutiny of clubs.
The PCB stated that the decisions made in the last BoG meeting have also been approved.
