Singer Dua Lipa has spoken candidly about her relationship with actor Callum Turner and their recent engagement, revealing she’s “happier than ever” and is learning to embrace vulnerability. The couple first sparked romance rumors in January 2024 after they were spotted slow dancing together at a premiere afterparty.
In a recent interview, Lipa expressed her deep feelings about love, calling it “a beautiful and inspiring thing.” She reflected on how she’s spent a lot of time “being guarded or protecting my heart” but is now learning to let go and “just allow love” with Turner. She admitted that while this vulnerability can feel “scary,” she feels “so lucky” to experience it.
Lipa also shared that not talking about her happiness feels like a “disservice,” noting that even though her personal life is “very vulnerable” as a public figure, she doesn’t want to hide it.
The couple confirmed their engagement in a June 2025 interview. Lipa mentioned that the engagement ring was custom-made by Turner after he consulted with her sister and best friends, which makes the ring “so me.” While they have no immediate wedding plans, as she wants to finish her tour and he is shooting a film, she admitted she has already started thinking about her wedding dress.
