Sabrina Carpenter is “freaking out” after a major announcement from Taylor Swift. The Please Please Please singer is the sole featured artist on Swift’s upcoming album, The Life of a Showgirl.
On August 12, Swift announced her 12th studio album, and a day later, she shared exciting details including the album’s cover, release date, and tracklist. The tracklist revealed that the only artist Swift collaborated with was Carpenter on the title track, “Life of a Showgirl.”
Carpenter reacted to the news on her Instagram Stories, sharing Swift’s post of the tracklist and writing, “THE LIFE OF A SHOWGIRL OCTOBER 3rd.” She added, “i know someone who’s freaking out and it’s me.”
Sabrina Carpenter previously opened for several of Swift’s Eras Tour concerts and even performed with her at the New Orleans stop in October 2024.
Other tracks on Taylor Swift’s new album include The Fate of Ophelia, Elizabeth Taylor, Opalite, Father Figure, Eldest Daughter Ruin the Friendship, Actually Romantic, Wit, Wood, and CANCELLED!. The album is set to be released on October 3.
