Nicola Peltz Beckham chose a special way to honor her family at her recent vow renewal ceremony by wearing a modernized version of her mother, Claudia Peltz’s, original wedding gown. The 30-year-old billionaire heiress and actress shared several photos from the private ceremony, which took place at her family’s estate in Bedford, New York.
A Recreation of a 1985 Gown
Peltz posted a collage on Instagram Stories, placing a picture of her mother in the original 1985 gown next to her own bridal portrait from the renewal. This highlighted her intention to pay tribute to her family heritage. The recreated dress featured the original satin ivory silhouette and corseted bodice but replaced the vintage puffed sleeves with a romantic, off-the-shoulder neckline adorned with delicate floral appliqués.
This dress was a distinct departure from her 2022 wedding gown, which was a custom-made Valentino haute couture piece. That original gown was designed in collaboration with creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli for their lavish Palm Beach wedding. It featured a square neckline, French lace gloves, and a cathedral-length train, with sentimental details like an evil eye symbol and a special message sewn into it.
An Intimate Ceremony and Star-Studded Afterparty
In contrast to the large-scale wedding in 2022, the vow renewal was a deliberately private event with a guest list that primarily included Nicola’s relatives. However, the couple later hosted a celebrity-filled afterparty. New photos from the event show the couple celebrating with actors Adrian Brody and Oliver Trevena, singer-songwriter Bryant Barnes, and designers Alexander Wang and Georgina Chapman. For the afterparty, Peltz changed into a soft, sky-blue gown with spaghetti straps, 3D butterfly appliqués, and a flowing chiffon drape, accessorizing with a metallic gold clutch.
