Pakistan’s Muhammad Hasnain Akhtar has triumphed over Welsh player Riley Powell with a dominant 4–0 victory to claim the IBSF World U17 Snooker Championship title in Bahrain.
Details released on Friday confirm that the tournament featured 32 players from 14 countries.
Following Hasnain’s success, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi extended his congratulations, hailing the win as a demonstration of skill and a source of national pride. He stated that Hasnain’s achievement underscores the hard work and capability of Pakistani youth and expressed optimism for future successes.
Furthermore, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah also congratulated Hasnain Akhtar for bringing glory to Pakistan on the global stage. CM Murad attributed the success to determination, dedication, and hard work, affirming the government’s commitment to promoting sports.
