Lieutenant General Wang Gang, Chief of Staff of the People’s Liberation Army Air Force (PLAAF), has lauded the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) pilots for their decisive and well-executed response during the recent conflict with India. He emphasized that the PAF, under the steadfast leadership of Pakistani Air Chief Zaheer Ahmad Babar Sidhu, demonstrated a textbook example of precision, discipline, and courage when faced with unprovoked aggression.
According to a statement from Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Lt Gen Wang, heading a high-level delegation, met with Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Sidhu at PAF headquarters on Tuesday. During their discussions, they covered matters of mutual interest, regional security dynamics, and avenues for enhanced bilateral cooperation, especially in the realm of airpower and operational synergy.
Lt Gen Wang expressed profound appreciation for the PAF’s high state of operational readiness and cutting-edge capabilities. Impressed by the PAF’s seamless integration of Multi-Domain Operations, the Chinese military leader described it as a hallmark of modern air warfare and conveyed the PLAAF’s strong interest in learning from the PAF’s battle-proven experience. Commending the professional acumen and strategic foresight of the PAF’s leadership, the visiting dignitary paid rich tribute to the PAF’s exemplary performance during the recent conflict with India.
The Air Chief extended a warm welcome to the distinguished guests, reaffirming that Pakistan and China share historic and time-tested ties rooted in mutual trust, strategic alignment, and shared aspirations for regional peace and stability. Lt Gen Wang received a comprehensive briefing on the PAF’s modern force structure, strategic initiatives, and the evolution of its operational doctrine.
Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar Sidhu also reiterated the strong bond of friendship between the two air forces and reaffirmed the PAF’s commitment to expanding cooperation in training, technology, and operational domains.
