John Leguizamo recently shared insights into his experience shooting the upcoming film, The Odyssey. Speaking with People Magazine, the actor revealed he collaborated closely with Tom Holland, Matt Damon, and Robert Pattinson on Christopher Nolan’s new project.
According to Leguizamo, working alongside these impressive co-stars was “a dream team.” While he couldn’t disclose many details about his work with Holland, Damon, and Pattinson, the actor also praised Oscar-winning director Christopher Nolan, describing him as “protective” of the project’s specifics. He remarked, “It was like being with a visionary — like what I imagine it must have been like to work with Stanley Kubrick.” Leguizamo added, “Somebody creating worlds, and who thinks in a different way than the rest of us.”
He also elaborated on the filming experience: “We were in amazing locations. It’s seven countries. They’re in Morocco, Greece, Sicily, back to L.A., and [Nolan is] bringing work back to L.A. and to America, which is incredible.” The actor concluded, “A huge American cast. It’s diverse — oh my God, I just love this project.” Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey, slated for a July 2026 release, also features Anna Hathaway, Zendaya, Lupita Nyong’o, and Charlize Theron alongside Tom Holland, Matt Damon, and Robert Pattinson.
