A high-level meeting of the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) was convened under the leadership of party president Abdul Aleem Khan to address the escalating Iran-Israel conflict and its broad implications for regional stability.
Expressing profound concern over the ongoing hostilities, Abdul Aleem Khan remarked that the regional imbalance has significantly increased the responsibilities of Pakistan’s armed forces. He conveyed the party’s deep sorrow over the human and material losses suffered in Iran and reaffirmed IPP’s steadfast commitment to regional peace and solidarity with all affected communities.
During his address, Abdul Aleem Khan commended Field Marshal Asim Munir, stating that he has emerged as a beacon of hope not only for Pakistan but for the entire Muslim world. He declared, “Victory in the Ma’rakah Bunyān-um-Marsoos belongs to Field Marshal Asim Munir,” and conveyed optimism regarding the success of the Chief of Army Staff’s ongoing visit to the United States.
Senior party leaders attended the meeting, including Rana Nazir Ahmed, Syed Samsam Bukhari, Shoaib Siddiqui, Syed Rafiqat Gillani, Brigadier (R) Qaiser, and Sardar Asif Nakai. The participants collectively expressed their full confidence in Abdul Aleem Khan’s leadership and congratulated him on successfully organizing a convention to demonstrate solidarity with the Pakistan Army.
The session also featured extensive discussions on the nation’s political landscape and deliberations concerning both the federal and provincial budgets.
