The Airports Security Force (ASF) successfully intercepted a drug trafficking attempt at Islamabad International Airport, confiscating crystal methamphetamine exceeding Rs12.5 million in value from an individual en route to Bahrain.
As per available information, the suspect, identified as Shoaib Ali, had ingeniously concealed 888 grams of the illicit substance within his trolley bag.
During standard luggage inspections, vigilant ASF personnel detected the hidden narcotics and promptly foiled the smuggling endeavor.
The apprehended individual, along with the recovered contraband, has been transferred to the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) authorities for subsequent investigation and legal proceedings.
