Rob Kardashian appears to be grappling with significant challenges when it comes to matters of the heart and personal connections. His struggles largely stem from issues with self-esteem and an inherent apprehension towards romantic engagements.
An anonymous inside source elucidated the situation during an interview with InTouch. In the conversation, the source explained, “Rob has not had good luck in the love department. It’s not just Chyna, though she did do a real number on him.”
For those unfamiliar with Rob’s relationship with Blac Chyna, she is an American model and the mother of his daughter, Dream, whom they welcomed in 2016.
In reality, “the sad truth is he’s got a pattern of getting his heart broken. It’s no wonder he’s been in protection mode for so long” because “he doesn’t like to let any woman get too close.”
However, the insider clarified that his reasons for this aren’t because he’s “some kind of monk.” They stated, “there are plenty of women around, he just keeps them all at arm’s length because he doesn’t want to get hurt.”
Furthermore, “it’s really sad because back in the day Rob was such a sweetheart. He was all about having a girlfriend and was so devoted. But he’s been betrayed so many times, he just can’t seem to begin to trust anyone.”
Compounding these issues, his “self-image isn’t good either, so he’s got a lot of fears about rejection.”
“He doesn’t even want to risk it. Ironically Khloé [Kardashian] is the one that nags him the most about all this, when she’s basically in the same boat,” the source added before concluding.
