Victoria Beckham reportedly skipped her Spice Girls bandmate Mel B’s significant birthday celebration. The fashion icon, who is said to be experiencing difficulties with her eldest son Brooklyn Beckham and his wife Nicola Peltz, was not present at Mel B’s birthday party, which was also attended by their fellow bandmate Emma Bunton.
Mel B, whose full name is Melanie Brown, hosted a Spice Girls-themed birthday party where all guests donned leopard print attire.
Sharing a glimpse from the festivities on Instagram, Mel B captioned, “Heres to 50 !!! And allll thats to come.”
It’s noteworthy that this absence comes after the “Wannabe” hitmakers had a reunion at Victoria’s 50th birthday last year. The Spice Girls members, including Victoria, Emma Bunton, Geri Horner, Mel B, and Mel C, took to the stage and performed their routine for the song “Stop.”
Speaking about the birthday previously with Jimmy Kimmel, David Beckham, who hosted the extravagant celebration for his wife, admitted, “I did put it together.”
“It’s actually been like 12 years since they did the Olympics in the UK but over 15 years since they actually were on the stage together. So obviously having them all there that night … and I didn’t expect them to all get up on stage,” David had commented at the time.
Significantly, Victoria’s decision to miss the lavish birthday party coincides with ongoing tensions within the Beckham household. David and Victoria Beckham are reportedly facing strain in their relationship with their eldest son, Brooklyn Beckham, and his wife, Nicola Peltz, who have reportedly ceased communication with them.
