After months of speculation, JoJo Siwa has finally broken her silence regarding her new romantic relationship with Chris Hughes. In a recent interview with The Guardian, published on Monday, the 22-year-old TV star revealed that her connection with the Love Island alum is “not platonic.”
“It’s not platonic anymore, and it’s been a beautiful development, a beautiful connection, and I’m absolutely head over heels for him and he’s the same way,” Jojo stated.
When asked if her newfound romance with Chris was a “PR stunt,” the Dance Moms star responded, “Clearly, you’ve never been around us. I won’t ever speak for him, but for me personally, the happiness in my life just radiates off of me right now.”
She added, “Literally yesterday, I was massaging my cheeks; I’ve never [before] been in pain from smiling so much.”
On June 1, Chris had further fueled ongoing dating rumors by posting an intimate selfie of himself with the TV star on Snapchat. In the viral snap, Chris can be seen planting a sweet kiss on JoJo’s forehead as she rests her head and arms on his chest.
