Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Nawaz Sharif is scheduled to depart for London tomorrow, sources have confirmed.
Sources revealed on Saturday that the former prime minister will undergo a medical check-up during his visit.
The PML-N supremo is also slated to celebrate Eid-ul-Azha in London.
Separately, earlier this month, Nawaz Sharif had expressed gratitude and lauded Pakistan’s leadership and armed forces following the announcement of a full ceasefire between India and Pakistan by then-US President Donald Trump.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), the former premier stated: “Thanks be to Allah that this has raised Pakistan’s standing,” he said. “I congratulate and commend Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu and the Pakistan Armed Forces.”
