Federal Minister Musaddik Malik stated on Thursday that the nation does not celebrate victory, but rather the dignity of its forces.
He emphasized the critical importance of unity among all political groups, including the PTI. Speaking on Samaa TV’s “Nadeem Malik Live”, Malik said, “The Indian media’s propaganda was responsibly countered by the Pakistani media, with the world acknowledging that Pakistan was reporting the authentic news.” He added, “Indian Prime Minister Modi had asserted that with Rafale jets, they would have decimated the enemy. However, this time, Rafales were falling like birds, and we could target any Indian post or bunker with our missiles at will.”
– Middle Eastern Support, National Resilience –
Malik highlighted the significant support Pakistan received from Middle Eastern nations, including Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, and Turkey. “We now possess the confidence to pursue our development path,” he stated. “Attacks on water resources are attacks on society itself.” He also stressed the necessity for Pakistan to chart its own course, acknowledging the collective strength of the nation.
– Musaddik Malik’s Commendation of Media’s Counter-Propaganda Efforts –
Musaddik Malik also praised the media’s role in combating Indian propaganda. “The media in Pakistan played a pivotal role in countering Indian misinformation. The world witnessed that Pakistan, not India, was reporting the truth,” he concluded, reiterating the significance of national unity and the collective fight against external threats.
– Shehryar Afridi Salutes the Nation’s Spirit –
Separately, PTI senior leader Shehryar Afridi lauded the nation’s spirit and resilience. “Whenever the nation faces a challenge, it unites. May Allah maintain our unity. The events of May 10th instilled a renewed spirit in the nation, and we must now solidify our foundations so that we remain unchallenged,” Afridi remarked. He also observed that the enemy’s true intentions were revealed following the Pulwama incident. “The world was initially misled by the enemy’s deception, but post-May 10th, the world witnessed the unwavering unity of the Pakistani nation. Our air force achieved a historic feat that day.”
Afridi emphasized the importance of national cohesion, urging Pakistani citizens to bridge all divides. “We must join forces in the pursuit of faith and justice,” he asserted. He praised the youth of Pakistan, noting that the country’s young generation now stands tall, prepared to confront challenges with renewed determination.
– Unity, Vision for the Future –
Reflecting on the changes within the PTI, Afridi noted, “Although I have had my differences with Atif Tareen, I have witnessed his evolution. When he was a minister, he celebrated Eid with soldiers at the LoC. This is not just the army’s fight; it is the entire nation’s battle.” He also reiterated the importance of the All Parties Conference (APC), suggesting that both the PTI founder and Akhtar Mengal should be invited to participate. “We are not seeking any favors. We must sit down together,” he emphasized, underlining that, despite differences with the PTI founder, he remains a leader in the hearts of many Pakistanis. “Personal likes or dislikes should never supersede the nation’s needs.”
