Victoria and David Beckham are reportedly navigating a family rift that emerged after their eldest son Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz Beckham did not attend the former footballer’s grand 50th birthday celebration. While their absence ignited speculation about a falling out, insiders now suggest the conflict stems from a past conversation between Victoria and Nicola.
An insider revealed to Hello! Magazine that during Victoria and Nicola’s last encounter, the fashion designer brought up a topic that exacerbated the existing tension.
A source stated, “The last time they were together, Victoria was discussing having children, mentioning that she was a young mother and suggesting that it might be a good time for Nicola to start a family. Nicola reportedly did not receive this suggestion well.”
It is noteworthy that friction between Nicola and Victoria is not a recent development. The two reportedly had a disagreement when Nicola opted not to wear a Victoria Beckham-designed outfit for her wedding to Brooklyn Beckham in April 2022.
The source explained, “Tensions arose during their wedding, and that situation has persisted; Victoria and Nicola don’t have a particularly good relationship.”
They further added, “Over the past few months, Nicola’s actions have reportedly allowed resentment to build, causing rifts among everyone.”
Notably, sources believe that Nicola Peltz is the primary reason for the strained relationship between her husband, Brooklyn Beckham, and his parents, David and Victoria Beckham.
“From the moment Nicola became part of the family, she hasn’t displayed what Victoria considers to be appropriate respect towards them,” the source stated.
