Amanda Seyfried explained why she was eager to star in Miranda July’s, All Fours.
According to the latest findings of Bang Premier, the 39-year-old actress has been “campaigning” for the lead role in the TV series All Fours.
During her new chat with Gold Derby, Amanda expressed that she “is campaigning to be the lead.”
“I will be the right age by the time it gets made. It’s very complicated and complex and nuanced. It’s a s***** awakening of someone,” she added explaining why she is desperate to lead the cast of the Starz adaptation of Miranda July’s provocative novel.
For those unversed, the flick in discussion revolves around the story of a 45-year-old woman who goes through a s***** awakening after having an affair during a road trip.
“I love books by women about hard things,” Amanda remarked before transitioning to a new topic.
Later in the chat, she discussed her role as Nina in the upcoming psychological thriller movie The Housemaid.
Shedding more light on the role, she revealed being left “giddy” by it.
“It still makes me giddy anytime someone mentions it. I get to play a character I never got to play and that’s a giant win. I play someone playing someone deranged,” the star shared in conclusion.
