Following Prince Harry’s interview with the BBC, psychotherapist and relationship coach Lucy Beresford felt compelled to share her analysis regarding why she believes the Duke chose to take such action.
In a discussion with The Mirror, she elaborated that this all transpired after Prince Harry experienced a sense of being “let down” by the Royal Family.
The expert further explained that “there’s an aspect of him not wanting to fade into obscurity.”
And the inherent irony in that “is that he is the one who removed himself, relocating to America, so this BBC interview seems more about trying to remind people of his continued existence. It’s as if he’s saying, ‘remember me!'” Beresford clarified.
She even went as far as suggesting that Prince Harry’s “inner child” appears to have “taken over his adult reasoning,” and this stems from his security concerns and anxieties that “history will repeat itself” concerning them.
Regarding this, she stated, “if it has already occurred within your family history, there’s a possibility that it could happen again. However, as an adult, you likely have the capacity to make your own choices to prevent such a recurrence.”
Nevertheless, it remains evident to the expert that the fundamental cause lies in “his inner child,” which “is so powerful that it’s almost as if it has hijacked his adult brain.”
It’s somewhat like saying, ‘no, this will definitely happen if I don’t receive the security I deeply desire; then truly negative events will unfold,'” Ms. Beresford concluded.
