The government has announced a decrease in the prices of petrol and diesel for the upcoming fortnight, commencing on May 1st (Thursday).
According to the details, the prices of petroleum products have been reduced by Rs2 per litre. The finance ministry has issued an official notification regarding this adjustment. Both petrol and high-speed diesel prices have been cut by Rs2 per litre each.
Following a reduction of Rs2 per litre, the new price of petrol has been set at Rs252.63 per litre. Simultaneously, the price of high-speed diesel has fallen to Rs256.64 per litre after the further decrease.
