A body language expert has offered her analysis of Meghan Markle’s non-verbal cues during her recent appearance on The Jamie Kern Lima Show podcast episode that aired yesterday.
For those unfamiliar, the Duchess discussed a wide range of topics during the interview, from her brand As Ever, to her children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, and her husband, whom she affectionately calls the ‘fox,’ Prince Harry.
In light of this, body language specialist Ms Judi James provided a detailed breakdown of Meghan’s mannerisms while speaking with Casino.ca.
James delved into her analysis from the outset, suggesting that Meghan appears “incredibly busy,” potentially indicating a reluctance towards any form of royal return.
“She uses the eye flutter and sighs to illustrate and emphasise this important message during a pose of ‘happy agony’ where she looks upward with a smiling grimace,” Ms James explained, highlighting specific non-verbal cues.
Furthermore, “her other ‘busy’ rituals include a sigh and her fingers get spiked to suggest muscle tension under pressure.”
Concluding her analysis, James noted, “Meghan takes this further though, pinching the bridge of her nose to suggest exhaustion before the most dramatic gesture of all where she brings her whole hand up to cover her entire face in a masking ritual as she tells us ‘Oh my gosh I work so hard’ as her face contorts behind the hand.”
It’s also worth mentioning that during the podcast, the Duchess addressed numerous questions surrounding her marriage, the possibility of divorce, and her future as a memoir author. Throughout the conversation, she expressed moments of deep affection for her husband, stating, “that man loves me so much and you know, look what we’ve built. We have built a beautiful life and we have two healthy beautiful children.”
