Prince Harry is reportedly upset by the “horrible” online backlash that his wife, Meghan Markle, continues to receive.
The Duchess of Sussex has once again become the target of significant online criticism following the release of her Netflix show, With Love, Meghan, and her podcast, Confessions of a Female Founder.
Adding to the wave of criticism, Meghan also faced ridicule for sharing a message on her Instagram story where she and Harry were addressed using their former titles, His and Her Royal Highnesses.
Sources close to Prince Harry say that the Duke of Sussex is a devoted and supportive husband to Meghan in all her endeavors, but he is deeply disheartened by the persistent negative response to her various projects.
A close friend of Harry shared with the Daily Mail: “It’s horrible for him to know that people don’t like his wife.”
They continued, “He adores her and doesn’t think she deserves any of the backlash or criticism that has been thrown at her over the past few years.”
The friend further added, “He’s (Harry) told us that the more people hate her, the more he’s going to stand by her. He’s vowed to always protect the mother of his kids.”
In his own words, Prince Harry previously told People Magazine regarding Meghan: “I am so happy for my wife and fully support absolutely everything she’s done and continues to do.”
