On Friday, Aliya Hamza, the chief organizer for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), was placed under arrest.
Information from sources indicates that Aliya was transferred to the Women’s Police Station in Rawalpindi.
In a separate incident on Saturday, a PTI activist was detained outside the London residence of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Nawaz Sharif, specifically at his Avenfield House.
Reports reveal that the former three-time prime minister was en route to his Avenfield House address.
The PTI activist was present at the location prior to Nawaz Sharif’s arrival.
