Prince Harry is reminded that his father, King Charles, cannot influence decisions regarding taxpayer-funded security. The Duke of Sussex, who is currently appealing the Home Office’s decision to reduce his security, is being reiterated that his father must remain uninvolved in governmental affairs. Royal expert Ingrid Seward writes for The Sun: “Harry now expects the already burdened British taxpayer to cover the cost of his mistake by funding security for him and his family when they visit the UK.” She adds: “Yet, he appears unable, or unwilling, to comprehend that much of the issue is self-inflicted.” “It is not the fault of King Charles, his father, whom he blames for not intervening and using his influence. Once again, Harry fails to grasp that the King cannot intervene in what is a governmental matter.” Ms. Seward further states: “It seems he cannot accept the possibility of his own errors and instead blames everyone else.”
