Huawei has launched its latest foldable smartphone, the Pura X, which incorporates the second-generation Lingxi communication technology, marketed as 5A Speed.
This new technology, designed to provide stronger and more consistent signal reception, is expected to perform well even in regions with poor network coverage.
Following further investigation, sources have confirmed that 5A Speed refers to the 5G-A Speed network, an advanced system capable of achieving download speeds of up to 10Gbps. The Lingxi communication system, which improves mobile network connectivity, was developed to ensure faster and more seamless connections, especially in areas with limited or no mobile coverage.
This technology was initially featured in the Mate 70 series, which included an innovative multi-antenna design on the device’s rear, supported by the Lingxi AI algorithm.
This combination improved connectivity in difficult environments, such as tunnels or high-speed trains.
Huawei’s integration of an even more robust network into Lingxi for the Pura X has resulted in the 5A Speed, indicating the utilization of the 5.5G network in its devices.
Furthermore, 5A Speed supports Wi-Fi 7, significantly boosting the Pura X’s network performance.
This enhancement is expected to enable users to download large files quickly, stream movies smoothly, and enjoy enhanced gaming experiences.
The Pura X also introduces several new features, including an AI-driven eye-tracking system that detects eye movement and automatically flips pages on the foldable display.
With its innovative design and advanced capabilities, the Pura X is set to make a significant impact on the smartphone market.
