Separately, Pakistan fast bowler Mohammad Wasim Jr pledged on Saturday to perform strongly following his recovery in the upcoming three-match ODI series against New Zealand.
Speaking to the media in Lahore, Wasim said, “It is challenging to stage a comeback after an injury. I cannot offer analysis on the T20I team as I am part of the ODI squad.”
He expressed hope that the Green Shirts would bounce back in the T20I series after suffering defeats in the first two T20I matches against New Zealand.
“I am feeling well after playing domestic cricket,” Wasim added.
Regarding the conditions in New Zealand, Wasim said, “The conditions in New Zealand are different, so we will adapt our play accordingly.”
