UK Air Safety Committee to Reassess Ban on Pakistani Airlines, Increased Optimism

Sources have indicated that the UK is preparing to reassess the five-year ban in place on Pakistani airlines, with the British Air Safety Committee scheduled to convene a meeting tomorrow.
There is increasing optimism that, in the wake of Europe’s decision, the UK may also choose to remove the restrictions on Pakistani airlines.
The ban was initially implemented five years ago on flights operating from Pakistan to the UK and Europe.
