Indian opener Shubman Gill continued his reign in world cricket as the International Cricket Council (ICC) released the ODI rankings on Wednesday.
According to the details, Gill, who showcased his batting prowess in the Champions Trophy 2025, retained his number one position in the ODI format. Former Pakistan captain Babar Azam held onto the second spot in the ODI format.
Rohit Sharma climbed to the third position in the ODI rankings.
Virat Kohli moved to the fifth position.
Sri Lankan spin bowler Maheesh Theekshana maintained his number one ranking, owing to his bowling skills.
Pakistani fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi remained at the ninth spot in ODI cricket.
