The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the national squad for the upcoming tour of New Zealand. Mohammad Rizwan will continue as the captain of the One Day International (ODI) team, while Agha Salman has been appointed as the captain of the Twenty20 (T20) squad. Shadab Khan has been named the vice-captain of the T20 team.
The tour will feature five T20 Internationals and three ODIs against New Zealand.
A significant change involves Mohammad Rizwan stepping down from the T20 captaincy, with Agha Salman taking over. Rizwan will, however, continue to captain the ODI side. Shadab Khan will serve as the T20 vice-captain.
Notably, Babar Azam, Naseem Shah, and Mohammad Rizwan have been dropped from the T20 squad, while Shaheen Afridi and Haris Rauf have been excluded from the ODI squad.
The tour will consist of five T20Is and three ODIs against New Zealand.
