Following two days of uninterrupted rain, Attock city and its surrounding areas were blanketed in a thick fog this morning, severely impacting commuters. The abrupt drop in temperature has heightened the intensity of the cold, making travel conditions arduous. The entire region was obscured by dense fog, disrupting visibility and daily routines.
Attock is often recognized as the frontier district of Punjab due to its location at the northwestern edge of the province, bordering Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK). Its strategic position along the Indus River has historically served as a gateway between Punjab and the tribal regions.
