Lahore has experienced continuous rainfall since yesterday, with light showers persisting in several areas on Friday. The ongoing rain has intensified the cold, creating a significantly chillier atmosphere. Across other parts of the region, Ferozewala and its surroundings saw heavy rain and strong winds, causing a sharp drop in temperature. Intermittent light rain in Khanqah Dogran brought back cold weather and led to power outages. Kamonki experienced heavy rain accompanied by hailstorms, further decreasing temperatures and causing concern for potential wheat crop damage. In Nowshera Warkan’s northwestern areas, severe hailstorms were reported, with hail covering roads in Oulakh Bhaike and Argan Bangla, causing distress to farmers due to crop damage. Nowshera Warkan also suffered power outages from tripped feeders. Hafizabad and its vicinity experienced heavy rain and hailstorms, resulting in cold and pleasant weather.
