Former Pakistan captain Moin Khan emphasized on Thursday the necessity of making difficult decisions to rescue cricket from its current decline. Speaking at an event in Karachi, Khan criticized the team selection for the Champions Trophy, stating, “Merit has been disregarded; cricket is being managed based on personal relationships.” “Non-technical individuals are employed within the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB),” Khan asserted. He further added, “Those who have been mentored by the PCB are now criticizing the team. The PCB must take action against these mentors.”
