Pakistan’s first lunar rover mission is set to launch in 2028. The Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SPARCO) has announced a nationwide competition for naming the lunar rover.
According to SPARCO’s spokesperson, citizens are invited to submit suggestions for the rover’s name, becoming a part of history. The individual who proposes the best name will be rewarded with one lakh rupees.
This announcement marks a major milestone in Pakistan’s space research and paves the way for more ambitious space missions in the future.
