Review Meeting Held to Tackle Challenges
Prime Minister’s Coordinator on National Health Services, Mukhtar Ahmed Bharath, reaffirmed the government’s commitment on Tuesday to eradicate polio from Pakistan.
According to details, a review meeting of the Technical Advisory Group on polio was held. Speaking at the occasion, Bharath stated, “We are striving to ensure the flawless completion of the vaccination program by collaborating with the provinces.”
He added, “We are extending our cooperation to ensure the successful completion of the vaccination campaign in districts near the Pakistan-Afghanistan border.”
Bharath maintained, “The government is prioritizing initiatives focusing on nutrition, health, and hygiene.”
He further said, “Steps are also being taken in South Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Karachi, Peshawar, and Quetta to address the issue effectively.”
