In response to the devastating wildfires affecting Southern California, Meghan Markle has announced that the release of her Netflix series “With Love, Meghan” will be delayed.
Originally set for release on January 15, the series will now premiere on March 4, 2025. The Duchess of Sussex, a native of Los Angeles, expressed her gratitude for Netflix’s understanding and support, which allowed her to focus on addressing the urgent needs of those impacted by the disaster.
In her statement, Meghan said, “I’m thankful to my partners at Netflix for supporting me in delaying the launch, as we focus on the needs of those impacted by the wildfires in my home state of California.”
Living in Montecito with Prince Harry and their children, Archie and Lilibet, Meghan has remained actively involved in supporting the wildfire victims. On their website, Sussex.com, the couple expressed their concerns about the widespread destruction and encouraged people to donate essentials or open their homes to evacuees.
Recently, Meghan and Harry visited the hard-hit neighborhood of Altadena and the World Central Kitchen in Pasadena, where they distributed food and supplies.
The couple has been actively working with charities through their Archewell Foundation to assist in the ongoing relief efforts. Meghan’s decision to delay the series reflects her commitment to prioritizing community support during this critical time for California.
