Cruz Beckham’s girlfriend, Jackie Apostel, opens up about the physical and emotional toll of her extensive spinal surgery in 2024.
David Beckham’s son’s love revealed that she underwent a “spinal fusion” and sought advice from her followers.
Jackie posted, “Question for my friends who have also had a spinal fusion – do you find it gets way more tense and painful when it’s cold outside?”
She added, “First winter with the rods in and it’s so weird.”
Notably, a spinal fusion is a surgical procedure that connects two or more vertebrae in the spine to reduce pain, correct problems, and make the spine more stable.
Earlier, Jackie shared a photo of the large wound right after her surgery in October.
Turning to Instagram, she wrote, “Random thought. Wild to think 3 months ago I was relearning to walk and couldn’t get up.”
The model continued, “Physically and mentally, I had a hard time, it took forever to feel okay with myself again, especially with work and writing.”
She said, “Our bodies are awesome and capable of so much. Take a moment to be grateful for your support systems, your willpower, and strength, whatever you’re going through.”
Jackie noted, “We all know it’s okay not to be okay all the time, and I hope everyone is taking care of themselves as much as possible and focusing on their mental and physical health.”
She concluded, “Also, check in on your friends. Sending everyone health, hugs, and love!”
It’s worth mentioning that Cruz Beckham and Jackie Apostel have been dating since June 2023, and the couple made their debut together at Victoria Beckham’s show during Paris Fashion Week.
