Ninth Edition of the Tournament to be Held in Harbin, China, from February 7 to 14
Karachi: Pakistan has announced its six-member contingent for the 9th Asian Winter Games, set to take place in Harbin, China, from February 7 to 14. The delegation consists of two athletes and four officials.
Muhammad Karim will compete in Alpine skiing events on February 8 and 9, while Muhammad Shabbir will represent Pakistan in cross-country skiing from February 8 to 12.
The Pakistan Olympic Association has appointed Air Commodore Ashar Jamil, Secretary General of the Winter Sports Federation of Pakistan, as Chef de Mission. Muhammad Abbas will serve as the team coach, and Asma Akram will act as the safeguarding official. Rabbia Nasir, an official from the Embassy of Pakistan in China, has been appointed as the NOC Attache.
The Asian Winter Games will bring together athletes from across Asia competing for top honors in various winter sports disciplines.
