Shehbaz Sharif: Expectations and Limitations

Renowned for his cautious and pragmatic administrative style, Shehbaz Sharif has taken a new political stride since assuming the prime minister’s role. His niece, Maryam Nawaz’s presence at the launch event, signaled an effort to bridge family divisions.

The internal conflicts within the Sharif family, which had negatively impacted the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), seem to be easing. Recent meetings and a growing consensus suggest that relations between Maryam Nawaz and Shehbaz Sharif have improved.
