RAWALPINDI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has claimed that Imran Khan was offered to be shifted to his residence in Bani Gala to serve the remainder of his sentence, but he rejected the proposal. He insisted he would not move until all political prisoners detained without trial were released, according to his lawyer, Faisal Chaudhry.
The government reportedly considered offering house arrest to the PTI founder if he agreed to abandon agitation politics and stop challenging the current system. However, Khan has repeatedly denied seeking any deals with the government, as confirmed by his sister, Aleema Khan.
Chaudhry criticized elements trying to derail talks between PTI and the government, emphasizing the need for the party’s negotiation committee to meet Khan.
Regarding ongoing legal cases, Khan’s lawyer expressed confidence that the outcome would align with previous favorable verdicts.
