Dallas: Indian film and TV actress, as well as host of the popular Netflix reality show, Neelam Kothari Soni, was caught off guard during an event in Dallas, USA, when Geo News and Jang correspondent Raja Zahid Akhtar Khanzada asked her an unexpected question, filling the atmosphere with surprise and laughter.
During the event, she was asked:
“During the shooting of the film ‘Hum Saath Saath Hain’ in 1998, you, along with fellow actors Salman Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Sonali Bendre, and Tabu, were accused of illegally hunting two blackbucks in Kankani. On April 5, 2018, Jodhpur’s CJM Court acquitted you. How did this experience affect your personal and professional life, and what lessons did you learn from this challenging time?”
Hearing the question, Neelam Kothari was initially taken aback and playfully responded:
“Brother, this isn’t quite the environment for that…!”
Her witty remark made the audience burst into laughter. Smiling, she added:
“That’s a good question, but perhaps this isn’t the right setting for it.”
Later, she graciously posed for a picture with the journalist and apologized:
“I’m sorry I couldn’t answer your question.”
The journalist smiled and replied:
“It’s our job to ask questions and get stories, but it’s entirely your choice whether to answer or not.”
This lighthearted moment became one of the event’s highlights, showcasing Neelam Kothari’s charming personality and professional poise that won over the audience.
